- Establish what products will air with the merchandising buying team.
- Compile the product information, including: Short descriptions, Long descriptions, size, color, weight, and care instructions for a formal quote to the buying office.
- Assemble QA samples and claims documentation for submission to QVC QA.
- Follow QA process and determine and find solutions for any rejected issues.
- Brainstorm, with vendor’s help, demonstrations for the broadcast airing
- Facilitate b-roll shootings and editing to assist the sell.
- Work with TV Sales team to create, review and approve appropriate on air demonstrations for each product.
- Provide product preparation for each live airing
- Review with Coordinating Producers the strategy for the on air sell, including choice of set, props, product positioning etc.
- Meet with QVC Host prior to airing to review product and on air selling points and strategies.
- Provide sales support during each sell of the vendor’s product by attending all live airings.
- Provide and track live sales data to see where there are spikes in demonstrations and proactively correct potential production errors in real time with Coordinating Producer.
- Provide sales information from vendor website after 24 hours of airing, including breakdown of the On Air sell.

Spectrum Rep Group represents manufacturers’ from around the world at QVC, the largest television shopping network in the United States. We are present at QVC multiple times per week which gives us the ability to stay in touch with your merchandiser and manage your product line effectively. RepresentationFor our QVC clients, we will provide you with timely, efficient and personal face-to-face access and communication with the appropriate merchants at QVC. We will work on your behalf with all aspects of the process from the introduction of the products to merchants, to purchase orders, quality assurance issues, internet sales and the television airings.
On-Air Talent and Prep SupportIn addition to representation, we also offer you access to a network of On-Air Guests and talent. We have a network of experienced On-Air Guests who can appear on-air with your product to demonstrate and sell. We can handle the hiring, training and support of the On-Air Guest/Spokesperson for you or you can provide your own talent to present your product on QVC. Once your On-Air Guest/Spokesperson is chosen, we will develop an outline for the presentation, train your guest and set-up for the airings. A member of the Spectrum Rep Group team will support the On-Air Guest for each airing ensuring they are prepared and ready.
Prep-Support and PropsIf specialized props are necessary for the on-air presentation, your company must provide them or pay to have them to be created. We can provide you with sources who are equipped and familiar with QVC and required supportive props and tools. In the case of food or kitchen items, a food stylist may need to be hired. Spectrum can refer you to a network of experienced food stylists. If support video is necessary for the best presentation of your products, we will refer you to an experienced video production company and formatting company who knows exactly what QVC expects and requires. Any and all work required to support the on-air presentation, that goes beyond the usual and customary support for an airing, is the financial responsibility of the manufacturer, and will be discussed ahead of time.
